About
Context + Content + Contrast = Concept
Great architectural design is more than a pretty façade. It is the culmination of form, function, efficiency and of utmost importance, good client and team communication. It extends past the property line, and relates to the city and natural environments.
We are interested in working with you on your custom house or your business. We are interested in working with your company on your retail or office space and building. We are interested in working with your development or design/build group to help create new residential or commercial spaces within the city, and beyond.
We offer a range of architectural services from pre-design to post-construction, throughout the spectrum of project types. Our focus is in creating connections, in thinking of your project as part of the larger environment.
Using BIM (Building Information Modelling) software technologies, we seek to provide new and efficient ways of planning and designing projects. These new technologies offer better management of construction cost estimates, more accurate coordination with other design consultants, and more precise energy modelling.

After working for years in Toronto on projects ranging from small home renovations to corporate campuses, J. Jordan Ellis returned to his hometown of Ottawa. His experience on projects across Canada, the United States and the Middle East involved taking on all roles from designer to manager, functional programmer and production coordinator.
He sees the value in architecture and design as a balance between desire and product, between beauty and efficiency.
With experience across the spectrum of project types, he looks at each new challenge as a process of solutions, by working with the client's goals to create great value and great architecture.
Following graduation from Carleton University School of Architecture, Dinko spent several years interning with prominent architectural firms in Ottawa, then establishing a small design firm of his own, before joining the Resolv Architecture team as principal architect. His experience includes working on a wide variety of project types, from small and medium-sized private residential as well as commercial, to large institutional.
He is particularly skilled at applying latest technologies to the design process, and enjoys exploring creative efficient solutions to difficult design challenges.
